Anyone is invited to attend our services. Our hope is that, over time, you will consider also becoming a member of the Resurrection.
What is Membership?
Every relationship needs commitment. Membership at the Resurrection is a commitment to God and the other members of our church. Membership is a commitment-based relationship with other Christians.
Most organizations are something you join for what you can get out of it. But Christ's church is something you join because of what you can put into it.
"But it shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many" (Mark 10:43-45 ESV).
Why Membership? How Do I Become a Member?
A church is both a family and a team. We're a family because God puts us together, and even though we're all different, we love each other and have each other's backs. We're a team because we are on the same mission, seeking the same goals, and working together to achieve them.
At the Resurrection, people become members because they agree with, and are committed to, the vision of this church, as spelled out in our membership covenant. Our members band together around this common vision to follow Jesus in the time and place that we live. We want to love God. And we want to reach the people around us with the Gospel.
Download our covenant, and give it a careful read. Prayerfully consider if the Resurrection might be your new church family.
